ABOUT

MICHAEL BEHRMANN

Mike began exploring the art of photography about 7 years ago in a pursuit to capture life’s moments in a way that draws the viewer in to the visually aesthetic nature of the photo, while simultaneously evoking a sense of wonder. His photographs are not necessarily created in an effort to preserve a moment in time so that the moment, and thus the feeling of the moment, can continually be revisited. Rather, to simply illustrate that the moment existed and brought beauty to those in the moment, as well as beauty to his eye and hopefully every eye that is set upon it. Mike believes that no image, poem, song or other artistic presentation of a moment will be able to replace those feelings of being present in that moment. Therefore, it is better to be present in those moments rather than rely upon a tool to recreate those feelings. Those feelings can never be recreated in the same fashion simply by looking at a photograph, but the beauty of the situation can always be appreciated and preserved.

Mike likes to shoot landscapes, lifestyle and portraits.

ERIKA BEHRMANN

Erika loves to capture the beauty of the world through the eye of the lens of her camera. She has taken photography and art courses at the University of New Hampshire and has worked with various companies, restaurants, yoga instructors and studios, and models. Working as a model herself, she has now experienced both sides of the camera. Erika would love to get involved in more landscapes, commercial, foodie, and portrait art to expand her portfolio.
